Jaclyn Newell is an associate attorney at Payne Law Group, handling matters concerning family law. Jaclyn volunteers biweekly at the Los Angeles County Bar's Domestic Violence Legal Services Project at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Downtown Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of San Diego and her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law. She is a member of the California Bar and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

During law school, Jaclyn was Managing Editor of the Women's Law Journal, participated in Moot Court and was an executive member of the Law Women Board. She was also an avid volunteer at Caracen's Violence Against Women Act & U-Visa Project, working with victims of domestic violence.

Jaclyn is a compassionate and confident family law advocate with keen attention for detail and works with respect for all people. In her free time, Jaclyn enjoys photography, hiking, travel and spending time with her friends, family and her six year-old Shiba Inu.
